I would ask you all to watch closely the promises the politicians make when they need to get elected and how inept their efforts become when they go to congress to get their bills passed, how bastardized the laws they sign into law becomes. The fact is that. till now, that is the norm, Obama Care is one pure example of corporations adding facets to the laws that benefit them, changing the essence the original bill to profit the bottom line and essentially turning a good effort to a law that everyone concerned, hates. The politicians can not change anything because the system is set up to benefit corporation who fund politicians’ reelection efforts and that is the flaw in our system, there should not be a conflict of interest in our system, we need to over ride congress by validating the “POPULAR” vote over the congressional vote. It is that simple.
When we are done, we will have changed from a "Representative" government to a true DEMOCRACY
